Afro Money Week is Africa's premier financial literacy and wealth creation conference originally held annually in the vibrant city of Lagos, Nigeria.
The Challenge
To reposition one of Nigeria's top platforms for financial literacy for global expansion and scalability. The need for the implementation of a new strategy developed in line with the organization's new vision of making local global and taking financial literacy from Lagos to Africans all over the world.
Approach
We started with the acquisition of information from discovery sessions to understand the goals, aspirations and core values of Afro Money Week as a brand. Then we proceeded to studying and analyzing these information to create a strategy that will position Afro Money Week as one of the best financial literacy platforms in Nigeria and beyond.
Implementation
With a strategic method, we set out to create a unique visual identity and personality that represents the organization and makes it easily identifiable to people. In doing this, we designed aesthetically pleasing and functional assets that people will experience to create a desired perception of enlightenment, trust and loyalty.
Impact
Since its rebrand, Afro Money Week has gone ahead to cover more destinations, with its first hosting over 3000 people which has set the pace for the organization to go from a local to global, achieving its goal of expansion with a continuously growing community of over well 5000 people.
