SmashHit is a digital media platform creating captivating and immersive cinematic experiences for active young adults looking to slow down and take a pause from the relentless grind in the fast-paced and ever-busy world we live in.
The Challenge
On a random day - Jade Osiberu, the director and founder of SmashHit, reached out to me for a collaboration to craft a brand identity for this new business. There was a need to create a compelling narrative and actionable strategy for the newly established idea and that is where I came in.
Approach
We started with the acquisition of information from discovery sessions to understand the goals, aspirations and core values of SmashHit as a brand. Then I proceeded to studying and analyzing these information to create a new brand narrative and strategy that will position SmashHit as a platform championing a movement of using immersive cinematic experiences as a form of self-care and well-being.
Implementation
After leveraging strategic frameworks to create a compelling narrative for SmashHit, we set out to create a unique visual identity and personality that represents the company and makes it easily identifiable to people. In doing this, we designed a delightful visual identity system that extends into aesthetically pleasing and functional brand assets that people will experience to form the desired perception of SmashHit as that friend that encourages you to live a little more.
Impact
The first Hit that was released since it's launch gained over 30,000 views in 4 days which has set the pace for the brand's exponential growth and expansion.
